Angel Gonzalez was born at downtown’s Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital at 12:02 a.m. today.
The boy, 19 inches long and weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces, is the third child for mother Maria Guadelupe-Lopez and her husband, Jose Angel Gonzalez.
At Holland Community Hospital an as-yet unnamed baby girl weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces was born at 3:15 a.m. to mother Susana Ballinas.
